Bloom Forum!!!

I am SO excited that the Bloom Forum is officially open.  Brenda and Kristy who teach the Bloom workshop (my favorite workshop to date) have opened a forum.  It is for hobbyists, amateurs and pros.  It's a great place to meet photographers and to do lots and lots of learning and growing.  Check it out, you wont be disappointed!  Click on the banner below to take you to the forum where you can sign up and join me and lots of other photographers there!

Can I not just tell you how much I love this family? They were so fun to work with and their kids are just the best little models ever. I am so grateful to have such awesome clients!

I must admit I was quite excited when a new client contacted me and wanted her daughters pictures and a few maternity shots taken in a cotton field. This was something new for me and I love trying new things. I definitely wasn't disappointed, the cotton was in perfect bloom and we were able to get there just in time for a great sunset! Here's a quick sneak peak, I will post the rest later!

I was delighted when the Stubbs asked me to take pictures of their kids. They have the most adorable family and their kids were awesome behind the camera. Mom was able to get the baby asleep for some cute sleeping shots, which doesn't always happen at 3 months, and then later that night we took the older kids to the square for their pictures. Thanks Stubb family for letting me capture the joy of your sweet kids, I had a blast and can't wait to take your family pictures next month!

I entered a contest on a well known photorapher, Detras, website. And much to my surprise out of over 1200 entries I was chosen as one of runner-ups. The theme was summer fun so I chose a picture of Brooklyn when she was helping Mike wash the car. Anyways I just had to share my excitement!!!
